About this listing
Built in 1880, our 3 bedroom end of terrace Victorian home nestles in a quiet cul-de-sac adjacent to St.Johns train station in zone 2, 2 streets away from Docklands Light Rail (DLR). The house has 3 double bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a large eat-in kitchen (dining table seats 8 comfortably), small but very attractive garden (25'x35'), one bathroom (with shower) and adjacent separate WC on first floor, another wc & shower and sauna in the basement. The house has wooden floors, working fireplaces, central heating, lots of natural light, is not overlooked, and is filled with art and books. We would like to rent for a 2 week period during the dates July 20-August 25th - which 2 week period is up to you! However our first choice is a houseswap with someone whereby we take your house (or second home) during Christmas 2012. Our first preference would be a seaside property anywhere in the world, but we are open to offers and suggestions!
Things to do nearby
We are in Zone 2, with the DLR on our doorstep - just 20 mins away from Olympic village. We're also on the overground, St Johns, which is 2 stops or 14 mins from London Bridge Station - where you can connect to any tube or station in London - or go visit the fabulous borough market at London Bridge. St. Johns is part of the ancient parish of Deptford, and this conservation area gives you access to Greenwich Park (2 stops on DLR or 20 minutes walk) to access the Olympic Equestrian events and all beautiful world heritage site of Greenwich.
