Situated close to some of East London’s best attractions, the flat is bright and sunny and comes fully furnished with modern facilities. Available for 1 person, minimum stay 2 weeks, up to 1 month.
The lounge has a large bay window with wooden floorboards, the kitchen is modern with washing machine, gas oven/hob and fridge/freezer, the carpeted bedroom has a king size bed, storage for clothes and a sash window looking out onto the private garden which catches the evening sun. The garden has a terrace area and lawn. At the back of the house is a bath with shower and toilet.
Flat comes with wi-fi and plasma TV. Fresh bed linen and towels available. Supermarket and drycleaners both located close to the flat.
Things to do nearby
Access to the Olympic site is quick and simple:
>By foot it is a pleasant 10 minute walk across the River Lea and Hackney Marshes to one of the entrances to the Olympic site, it’s even quicker by bicycle
>The nearest overground station is a 10 minute walk to Homerton Station, which is two short stops (6 minute journey) to Stratford’s Olympic entrance and the largest inner-city shopping centre in Europe.
Homerton Station also links to the main tube and train network, 30minutes into the heart of London to the west or the cool bars of Shoreditch to the south. There is also an excellent late night bus service and free street parking around the corner (or permit parking outside).
The flat is located in a vibrant area of Clapton, one street away from a Sunday vintage and food market, numerous trendy cafes and delis, there are also some cool bars nearby.
>Parks: There are easy walks to Lee Valley nature reserves (10 minutes), the large Victoria Park with its village-style cafes/restaurants (20 minutes), London Fields (30 minutes), which has an outdoor heated pool and is very popular with east Londoners.
>Markets: Chatsworth Road Market on Sundays (2 minute walk), Broadway Market on Saturdays (30 minute walk), Columbia Road Flower Market on Sundays (40 minute walk) which continues down to Brick Lane and Spitalfield’s markets.
