About this listing
This is a deceptively spacious semi-detached Edwardian house with a large dining-kitchen area overlooking a private garden (with pleasant patio/outdoor seating) and a separate lounge area. Both these downstairs rooms have gas-fires.
The main double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and the second is ideally a single room to give some hanging space. The bed in this room can be made into a substantial and comfortable double bed, however, but this reduces hanging/storage area. The smaller third bedroom is usually an office but has a comfortable bed-settee. There is a bath/shower room upstairs and a downstairs loo as well.
I would be happy to offer 'Bed and Breakfast' (if so, I would retain use of the 'third' bedroom) and would therefore also be willing to be a 'taxi' service to Dorney and/or the railway station (a mile's walk otherwise). Alternatively, I will offer you free range of the house and I would return weekly to clean and tend the garden. This would allow the third bedroom to be used for storage if the second bedroom is being used as a double.
The whole house has been decorated in a 'minimalist' style over the past 3 years. It would make a comfortable and lovely 'stay over', ideally for 4 guests who would be willing to also feed George the Cat. No smoking is allowed.
Things to do nearby
The property is within easy distance of Dorney Lake (rowing competitions) and Maidenhead is on the mainline to London (45') for other Olympic venues, including Lord's and Wimbledon. Windsor is about 10 miles away and it is about an hour to Oxford by road (or by train). Interesting shopping can be found in nearby Marlow or Henley-on-Thames.

As a teacher, I will have plenty of time in the summmer to be a hostess, if you would like to do 'B&B' with me. I love cooking and use fresh produce if possible from my garden.
